Pony Painting Monet soft greys and pale timber

soft greys and pale timber for a relaxed yet characterful look

There is a serene openness here

giving the scene real depth and openness

This rural landscape brings the open air of the south indoors

while the deep blue sky deepens towards a star-scattered night

Pony Painting Monet soft greys and pale timberA chestnut pony stands in a sunlit upland meadow, its flaxen mane and tail catching the breeze as it gazes calmly toward the viewer. Wild grasses dotted with tiny yellow flowers sweep across the foreground, broken by weathered grey boulders and a scatter of stone. Behind, rolling green hills fade into soft distance beneath a wide sky of drifting white cloud. Painted with realistic warmth, the scene glows with the gentle clarity of a fine summer's day
