Abstract Flower Building This image was taken around

This image was taken around 8pm with a couple of hours of sunlight still remaining on this day

British Columbia a few years ago I captured this image of a yellow flower while visiting Butchart Gardens

By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated City and County Building

I spent a couple of afternoons photographing in this area

Once I found the location again I searched nearby for better areas and set-up my tripod be aware of small cactus in the area as well

Abstract Flower Building This image was taken aroundThere is something to be said about the magnitude of the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada. A few years ago I visited the gardens and it is one of those places you can spend all day with your camera. After a while I focused my efforts on using a macro lens in the rose gardens and looking for interesting elements in the flowers themselves which is the above image.
