Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind

While visiting San Diego a few years ago

just before the game I noticed the sun starting to drop behind the stands on the 3rd base side of the stadium

however the clouds to the east prevented the moonrise from being visible at my location

The overcast conditions this morning provided a great backdrop for the iceberg and exploring on the waters of Hall Bredning

Walking to the Colorado State Capitol Presentation:Print Only Prior to leaving the lakeThe Colorado State Capitol gives an open approach from Civic Center Park as well as Lincoln Park. Using a low perspective the patterned stones adds to the layout of the area around the capitol. While it looks like it is a direct line to the capitol, it is best advised to not cross here but at the corner. These approach also give a nice perspective of the building itself.
