It was only in 1950 that the property was equipped with a traditional 16 hectoliters still (Maresté)

with heady aromas and flavours transferred from plant to spirit

providing a richer and more expressive flavour

All grown within the Wood Park home block the varieties are harvested separately and all fermented in 3 tonne open fermentes and regularly hand plunged

Kiwi 1883 syrup is made from carefully selected ingredients including natural cane sugar and our secret ingredient, pure Alpine water.
