I recovered this wood when they were remodeling a business lot in Grand Junction and removed 3 very old Catalpa trees with trunks that were 3 foot in diameter

I purchased the Afzelia slab I used for this piece from someone locally who had purchased the piece many years ago and finally decided to sell it

The green malachite inlay I put into cracks that occurred as the tree dried out

Gifted to An old friend that gave me this beautiful wood
