Strawn Floor Room Type:Framed The purpose-built factory on ArthurtonA long timber table with turned legs sits on a floor of broken boards and straw, lit by multi pane windows along the left wall. A plank door and wall shelf stand beyond, the roof framing open above. The space sits within the four storey mill built by Charles Dransfield in 1859 using locally made brick and farm sourced granite. Part of the Mill Pond Farm series.
