John Muir Trail T-shirt Size:2X Large including many of the serviceJohn Muir Trail Explorer Theodore Solomons dreamed of a High Sierra hiking trail dating back to 1884 and from 1892 through 1897 he made extended pack trips exploring the Sierras. John Muir, a founder and first president of the Sierra Club had always liked the idea of establishing a long distance hiking route through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. After Muir's passing in 1914, the Sierra Club and the State of California agreed to work together on the
